People have strong beliefs, and quite a few of them believe that only an unearthly force can help them out of these tricky situations. More often than not, people tend to place their trust on the mighty and here’s one such classic example of the same.
Chilkur Balaji is one of the most famous and heavily -crowded temples in Hyderabad. The traditional prominence that this temple enjoys makes it a go-to place for devotees who are in search for some substantial help.
Many people believe that visiting Chilkur Balaji temple and offering their prayers can get their Visa works done without any difficulties or obstructions. This should be the main reason why we see more youngsters than aged people at the temple premises.
The road to Chikur leads you through Mrugvani national Park, and the lush greenery will offer a splendid scene. This can come as the perfect remedy for the busy culture and corporate lifestyle.
Inside the temple, you can find pink-colored cards that can be bought by the devotees. These are used to keep note of the pradakshans one needs to do after their wish gets fulfilled. Most of the time, the number is set at 108.
Interestingly, you need to do these pradakshans even while wishing for something. However, 11 of them will be sufficient for now.
The Back Story:
When asked about the Temple’s history, the current head priest, Chilkur Mahadbhushi Gopalkrishnan said their family has been serving the temple for the past 400 years.
He further added that young devotees frequent this place. Not just Visas, people visit this place to fulfill their various other needs like getting a job, getting married, it can be anything. The pure devotion and faith in their faces while wishing for something is what moves the inner soul.
There’s a hotel named Haritha, approximately 100 meters away from the temple, you can find some good vegetarian food here.
