Hyderabad, known for its high-paced lifestyle and software culture, has quite a few well-maintained parks, which let you detach from the busy work life and connect with nature. Here is a list of 10 such parks which you should be paying a visit to.
Priyadarshini Park – Saroor Nagar East
This park has a plush vibe to it. The establishment has greenery all over and is considered a favorite to the younger section of the visitors. It has been in existence since 2006.
KBR Park – Jubilee Hills
Kasu Bramhananda Reddy national park is located in the heart of the city. It has been in existence since 1994. This one of the biggest and highly popular parks in the city.
Jalagam Vengal Rao Park
This park is located in between Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. It is spread in a sprawling area of 10 acres. This park is maintained by GHMC authority.
NTR gardens is located at the famous Hussain Sagar lake. It is established in the memory of late politician Sr NTR. We can find a number of food stalls here.
T. Anjiah Lumbini park or shortly known as the Lumbini park was established in the year 1994. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the city.
Public Gardens, Nampally
Nampally public gardens is one of the oldest parks in the city. Many schools have made this park a regular spot for picnics.
Sanjeeviah Park is located near the Hussain Sagar lake. It is spread in a sprawling area of 92 acres, making it one of the biggest parks in the city.
Lotus Pond is a plush park located in MLA Colony, Jubilee Hills. As the name suggests, this pond has lotus blooming all over it. This park is located 2kms away from KBR park.
Named after the former prime minister Indira Gandhi, this park is located at Hussain Sagar lake. It has been around for quite some time now.
